The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to rotate which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel while walking along an uneven path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem a little bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. But they also produce a wide selection of pushchairs with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is simple to fold and fits easily in the boot of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than other strollers that we test, but the wheels are rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on various terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other things.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it comes with a large, deep basket to hold a changing bag or plenty of food. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you require a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.
